Overview

This reverse osmosis drinking water filter system reduces or removes up to 95% of total dissolved solids in the water. It uses activated carbon cartridges to improve the taste of the water.

The reverse osmosis system is particularly good for people who want the advantages of lime-scale free drinking water for their kettle, coffee machine and cooking, but want to reduce the sodium content of softened water.

The reverse osmosis system is also available as an electronic version which indicates when membrane/filters should be changed.

How does it work?

Water is forced through a semi-permeable membrane where a high percentage of the dissolved solids are rejected and flushed to drain. There will be waste water to carry out the process. Filtered water is stored in a tank.
